CHECK OUT THIS STALLION!
Helm is an Akhal-Teke stallion bred by Natalia and Tito Pontecorvo of Akhal Texas and owned by William Askins. With the help of the German classical dressage trainer Reinhard Dorsch, Askins has developed and competed the magnificent Helm through dressage level Intermediare-1. Askins and Helm were featured in a 2008 article about Dorsch in The Horse Gazette Newspaper, an on-line publication out of San Antonio, TX. Natalia Pontecorvo recently emailed this photo to Amrita for the Akhal-Teke booth at the World Equestrian Games. Isn't he STUNNING?

I really appreciate the delicate build of this stallion and the breed in general. He has a very graceful, elegant way of going.
Oh, and they come in buckskin! Even better. ;)
Thanks Val!
I agree. . .with the trend towards riding massive warmbloods, draft crosses, and even draft breeds. . .it's nice to see a successful dressage stallion with a light frame and such elegance.
ATs come in an array of colors: buckskin, palomino, cremmello, plus all the "regulars."
