Inde and Monica at the Death Valley Warm-Up Elevator Endurance Ride

Here are some beautiful photos of Monica Bennett and "Inde," an Akhal-Teke/Arab gelding, at the Death Valley Warm-Up Elevator Endurance Ride out of Coso Junction, California. You can read more about this ride by visiting this blog post at: "Karen's Musings & Endurance Ride Stuff."
Monica and Inde competed both days in the 50-milers and finished 15th out of 60 riders on Day 1 and 13th out of 23 riders on Day 2. They have enjoyed a STELLAR season so far and are are busily training for the infamous Tevis Ride coming up on July 16, 2011. CLICK HERE to read our post about their great success in the 20 Mule Team 100. We are very excited for this SUPER team and look forward to more updates!

Have you read up on Jas Schearer-McMahon's records? Or Susie Morill's, or Kelsey Kempfert's?

Yes, in fact.... but I don't publish without permission & specific details provided by the owners/riders, etc. I would be thrilled to have them send me news, results, photos, etc. of their competitions and/or training both past & present, for this blog.
