Another update about the sensationally snappy Akhal-Teke Sport Horse jumper, "Tazym." Known by those who love him as "Tazzy," this fiery little chestnut is an Akhal-Teke/Quarter Horse gelding bred by Allegra Steck of Central Asian Equines. Here at Sweet Water Farm, we call him "Tazym the Terrific" because we LOVE his super jumping style AND the fact that he is currently taking the Ohio jumper world by storm. Tazym's proud owner, Carolyn Van Dyke, recently publicized his latest photos and graciously granted us permission to continue posting his success on this blog.
To read more about Tazym:
The following photos are from a recent jumpers competition (3'6 to 4'0) where he won the "Gambler's Choice;" you jump as many fences as you can, making up your own course, in 60 seconds.
In a note from Carolyn...
"He may only be 15.2... but check out that stride and cornering. He regularly leaves the big boys in the dust."
